I have always loved the kitchens and decor of the 1950s. Everything looked so classy and elegant: the bathrooms, the kitchens, even the toilet paper matched the wallpaper! So, you can just imagine how excited I was to find this line of retro kitchen appliances that are made in Italy!

This family-owned and global brand is inspired by the 1950s, an era known for its eye-catching, retro designs in colors like pastel pink, blue, and red, with innovations like built-in freezer compartments and early self-defrosting features.

SMEG's logo statement is "Technology with style!" And, I can't argue with them on that. They are based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia, in the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna.

Their website states that they collaborate with Porsche; they have a line of retro refrigerators, customized with "Porsche elements". Sounds pretty fancy to me!
