He Lives! Preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

Updated: Jan 19

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11)

We are in turbulent times: war, fire, death, disease, and corruption. However, you should not fear because our Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who suffered and died on the cross for all our sins, will return from Heaven and save His followers and faithful believers from destruction and the depths of hell.

"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen; the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." - Matthew 24:6-8.

The Second Coming of Christ will be personal, visible, and glorious. The entire earth, nation to nation, will see Jesus and hear His voice (Rev 1:7). We should all be constantly watching, praying, and preparing for this day.

Jesus will establish His kingdom on earth, but before he does, He will come for his people (Church). At the time of His second coming, the dead in Christ, along with the living Christians, will rise to meet our Lord and Savior in the air and be with Him forever. This is called and known as the “Rapture” (1 Corinthians 15:51-54).

During this resurrection, those who died in Christ will have their redeemed souls and spirits united with a body like Jesus’ glorified body (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Faithful Christians alive at the time of this miraculous event will not die, but will have their bodies transformed to be like Jesus' (1 Corinthians 15:51-53, 1 John 3:2).

"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." - Matthew 24:12-13.

Let this much expected and Holy Event be a motivation for holy living as well as a source of comfort (1 John 2:28, 1 Thessalonians 4:18). Many will try to deceive you by saying when this day will occur, but make no mistake or error, because no man knows the day or the hour when this will take place (Matthew 24:36, John 6:39). Not even Jesus Himself knew. Only our Father in Heaven knows when this event will take place, so beware of false prophets! (Matthew 24:5).

Following the Rapture of the Church, Christians will be brought before the seat of Christ for judgment (Romans 14:10-12, 2 Corinthians 5:10). Jesus will reward His followers based on their accomplished works (Matthew 16:27). This should not be confused with a judgment to determine their salvation, but a reward for their labor on Jesus’ behalf.

The Rapture will also be an inauguration period that the Bible states as “the great tribulation,” the “great day of His wrath,” and the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Revelation 6:17, Matthew 24:21). This unprecedented and difficult time will affect Israel and all nations. The purpose will be to prepare Israel for its Messiah (Zechariah 12:2; Ch. 3; 14:1-3).

At the end of the great tribulation, Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, will return to earth with the host of Heaven and His Church to establish the Messianic Kingdom (Rev. 19-7-9, Ch. 14; 1 Thessalonians 3:13; Zechariah 14:9; Rev. 19:15, Ch. 16). His kingdom will last for a thousand years. During and after this time, the Antichrist and false prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Satan will be bound for a thousand years (Revelation 20:2, Ch. 4-6; Rev. 19:20; 20:1-3).

All nations, along with their representatives, will be judged (Joel 3, Matthew 25). Israel will be restored to her land and never removed again (Amos 9:15; Ezekiel 34:28). Jesus will reign with firmness and equity (Psalm 2:9, Isaiah 11:4), and His kingdom shall be marked by spiritual and material blessing because the curse upon the earth shall be removed (Romans 8:19-21).

The kingdom of Christ will close with apostasy and rebellion (Rev. 20:7-9). God will destroy this uprising in the last battle of the ages, and Satan will be thrown into a lake of fire (Rev. 20:10). Everyone who rejected the word of God will be resurrected (Rev. 20:11-13). They will be judged by Jesus Christ and thrown into the lake of fire where they will suffer their final and everlasting punishment (Rev.20:14, Ch. 15; Mark 9:48).

After this judgment, there will be a new Heaven and a New Earth where righteousness is the norm (2 Peter 3:13). There will be a new Jerusalem, and the everlasting presence of God will be among all the redeemed (Rev. 21:2, Ch. 3, Ch. 2:3-5).

The Mark of the Beast, an Unforgivable Sin!

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of His wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep His commands and remain faithful to Jesus." - Revelation 14:9-12

The Holy Word of God tells us that during the end of times, a beast will appear (Revelation 13) and force the inhabitants still living here on the earth to worship it and to receive a mark either on their foreheads or on their right hands. You will not be able to buy anything or sell anything without receiving this mark.

"It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive the mark on their right hands or foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark..." (Revelation 13:16-17).

However, God has warned His chosen people NOT to worship this beast and its image or receive its mark. Even if it means death, you should die in Christ so you can rise in Christ and be in the presence of our Savior and our Heavenly Father forever.

This is God's warning: "A third Angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of His wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the Holy Angels and the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.' This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep His commands and remain faithful to Jesus." (Revelation 14:9-12).

As you can see, worshipping this beast or its image and receiving the mark is an unforgivable sin. The Bible tells us that this will be a time to be courageous and for all believers to stand firm until the end: "...To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars -- they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Revelation 21:6-8).

The Bible also says: "...Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." (Revelation 14:13).

Some people are already implanting a chip in their hands to buy and operate things in their homes. This is the devil's way of preconditioning you for the evil that will come. I warn all of God's people in Christ Jesus to stay away from these things. Do not defile yourselves with these implants and chips. This is just the beginning of what's to come!

Remember also that your bodies are holy temples of God: "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Brothers and sisters, do not take my word for it, but seek God through prayer: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)

I have also read other posts where leaders and officials in the church are instructing people to follow the church over the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God! And the Holy Spirit testifies to all true believers. You do not need a church to have a personal relationship with God in Christ Jesus. God does not live in man-made buildings: "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of the Heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands." (Acts 17:24). In addition, the Word of God tells us: "God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24).

The church does not save you. Jesus Christ saves you! For He has said: "...I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6-7).

The body of Jesus Christ is the Church of God, and we, faithful believers, are its members: "For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church...for we are members of His body." - Ephesians 5:23-30. Read also: "Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ Himself?" - 1 Corinthians 6:15.

The Bible also tells us: "Peter and the other apostles replied: 'We must obey God rather than human beings!'" (Acts 5:29).

Some people might argue that this mark is not a microchip, but rather it has to do with the Holy Sabbath and worship. Revelation 13 makes it crystal clear that the mark will be forced upon people on their foreheads or their right hands so that they cannot buy or sell without it. What more do you need to understand this? Do not be deceived. Pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ about everything I am telling you.

Jesus lives! And He will come again to judge both the living and the dead. Repent and make way for our Lord and Savior. Get your house in order and repent, for there is peace with God's protection in Jesus Christ!

An Invitation to Accept Jesus Christ

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

If you are reading this and have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I ask you to do so now. You are not reading this by coincidence. The Word of God says: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." - Romans 10:9-10.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Our Heavenly Father and Creator sent Him to die for our sins (John 3:16). All sins, no matter how big, are covered by the sacrificing and atoning blood of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:13-14, 1 John 2:2, 1 Peter 3:18).

The time is now. There will be no second chance after death: "And just as it is appointed to man to die once, and after that comes judgement, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him." (Hebrews 9:27-28).

Life is your second chance. Every second of the day that you live, God is giving you the chance and opportunity to accept the gift of salvation given to all of us through His Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross.

I repeat: There will be no other chance after death.

Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." - Matthew 7:13-14.

Which road will you take? The choice is yours, but the time is now, because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. (Proverbs 27:1).

There is no "in between" either. You must pick a side, for Jesus Christ has said, "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." - Matthew 12:30.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'" - Matthew 28:18-20.

How to Accept Jesus Christ into Your Life

  1. Confession of Sin: Acknowledge you are a sinner and need forgiveness (Romans 3:23)

  2. Belief in Jesus: Believe He is the Son of God, died for your sins, and was resurrected (Romans 10:9)

  3. Repentance: Turn away from sin and self-centered living.

  4. Invitation: Ask Jesus to come into your heart and life as Lord and Savior.

  5. Commitment: Choose to follow Him and live for Him.

  6. Gratitude: Thank God for the gift of salvation and eternal life.

I plead with you, with all my heart, to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Please repent of your sins, and profess with your mouth from your heart the following: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (John 20:31, 1 John 4:15, Romans 10:9), He suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the world, God raised Him from the dead three days later, and He accended into Heaven and now sits at the Right Hand of our Almighty Father and God (Hebrews 1:3, Romans 8:34). He will come again to judge both the living and the dead. (2 Timothy 4:1). And, finally, please make every effort to get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Matthew 3:15),

You must confess all of the above things from your heart for the gift of salvation that was given by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, on the cross. If you need some help, please use the example below as a prayer from Pastor Rick Warren:

"Dear God,

I believe Jesus Christ is your Son. I confess I have sinned, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died to take away my sins and that you raised him to life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow him as Lord from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will.

In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Remember, it's not just about the words, but the sincere attitude and change of heart that matters to God. You can pray in your own words or use the prayer above.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World! Please accept Him into your heart and life today and spread the good news!

I testify by the Holy Spirit of God that these things are true. I say all of this to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior, amen.

"Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." - Revelation 22:12-13.
